Skål Club of the Year 2022-2023 Award
With great pleasure we announce the three Clubs nominated to enter the 'Skål Club of the Year 2022-2023' Award
Their remarkable accomplishment in fulfilling all the criteria set out showcases their unwavering dedication, excellence, solidarity, and commitment to the Skål Movement.
We encourage all Skål Clubs to draw inspiration from their achievements and make sure they qualify to participate in the voting. The nominees video presentations highlight their achievements, initiatives to recruit/retain members, promote the Skål brand, charities or sustainable activities undertaken from 1 January to 31 December 2022.
Voting rules
The online voting by eligible Clubs worldwide and the Executive Board jury will take place from 1 September to 15 October 2023.
To be eligible to vote, these are the conditions that Skål Clubs worldwide must fulfill on 25 August 2023:
The balance of membership fees owed to Skål International cannot exceed Euros 200. Debts of new members approved during August will not be taken into account.
A minimum of 10 members must be recorded on the Skål International database.
Clubs with up to 65 Active/Life/Retired/Young Skål Professional members will be entitled to one vote and those with 66 or more Active/Life/Retired/Young Skål Professional, will have two votes.
The voting process will be conducted on Election Buddy.
The link to vote will be sent to the Presidents of those Clubs with one vote.
In the case of those Clubs entitled to two votes, the Secretaries will also receive the link to vote.
Clubs can at any time check their financial status with Skål International through the Officers Dashboard. They are kindly required to select the members for whom payment is being made. This step is important for all parts, this way, the General Secretariat can identify the paid members and these automatically receive the virtual membership card.

Skål International Senior Vice President Annette Cardenas, Vice President Denise Scrafton and Director Andres Hayes will make up a panel of judges representing the Executive Board.
The Club that gets the highest combined score following vote by the Clubs and the Executive Board will be declared ‘Skål Club of the Year 2022-2023'.
