SKÅL INTERNATIONAL HEADING FOR A NEW ERA AS NEW GOVERNANCE PLAN GETS A GREEN LIGHT AT 2022 WORLD CONGRESS IN CROATIA

2022 SKÅL International World Congress

The 2022 SKÅL International World Congress meeting after a hiatus of 2 years during the pandemic, finalized election of the Executive Committee for 2023 while also approving a new governance mode.

 

The proposed revised By-Laws and Statutes amendments designed to set SKÅL International on a new and exciting course for the future, were given the green light in a 70% vote to pass the new Governance Plan.

 

Commenting on the outcome of the vote, Burcin Turkkan, World President said,  ““We are delighted that the majority of our members are on board with these changes, which are, at their core, guidelines, actions and measures that will help SKÅL International thrive and grow within the current scenario.”

 

“The amended Governance Plan is a progressive, ambitious and holistic model that is designed to ensure equal distribution of power and increase our global representation.”

 

In conclusion, Burcin thanked all participants for their confidence in the new Governance Proposal and looked forward to sharing a bright and exciting future for the organization.
